Networking Session Five
Through inquiry-led belonging approaches, schools will discover how fostering agency and meaningful connections enhances wellbeing and academic growth. Participants will also reflect on what they have learned during the planning year, and through networking with other schools, will build on their vision for implementing their plan.

Networking Session One
Transforming an IB World School is as much about cultivating shared purpose as it is about implementing new tools. In this session, we’ll ground our work in the complexity of change—examining why reform often stalls and identifying the “non‑obvious” leverage points that unlock progress. Drawing on IB case studies and the Promise of Better Schools research, participants will learn to build bridges between educators, families, and stakeholders; align goals; and harness power‑mapping techniques to set the stage for genuine, community‑led transformation .

Networking Session Two
Effective transformation in IB World Schools begins with leadership that models equity, agency and shared purpose. In this session—Leading Transformation in IB World Schools—we’ll surface the mindsets and frameworks that empower school leaders to dismantle barriers, cultivate inclusive cultures, and guide their communities through sustainable change. Drawing on the IB’s Excellence & Equity (E2) Framework and liberatory design principles, participants will step into stakeholder roles, collaborate on real‐world case studies, and co‑design a leadership plan tailored to their context

Networking Session Three
In IB programmes, teaching and learning are intentionally designed to remove barriers and affirm every student’s identity. This session—Inclusive Design for Learning and Teaching—will ground participants in the IB’s key inclusion principles and celebrated approaches to joyful, student‑centered learning. Drawing on Learning Diversity & Inclusion standards (e.g., Student Support 2.2, Culture 2.3) and the IB’s inquiry‑based frameworks, you’ll explore concrete strategies for strength‑based curriculum design, multimodal engagement, and personalized goal‑setting. Expect interactive demonstrations and lively breakout rooms where you’ll co‑create context‑specific tools to make inclusion an everyday reality.

Networking Session Four
Assessment in IB World Schools is not merely a measurement tool but an integral part of the learning journey—providing evidence of growth, enhancing self‑efficacy, and informing both teaching and student agency. In this session—Learning & Growing Through Assessment—participants will explore the IB’s holistic vision for assessment: one that is varied, fit‑for‑purpose, and universally designed to support diverse learners. Grounded in IB standards (Approaches to Assessment 4.4; Culture 3.1 & 5.5), we’ll examine how assessment, teaching, and feedback form a dynamic cycle that promotes continuous improvement.
