Collaborative Working Sessions

A series of networking sessions were created so schools partnering in this pilot initiative could share ideas, learn from one and another, and provide important insights to the IB about the complexity of the challenges they face when working to grow and sustain student interest in the IB Diploma Programme. Where are participating schools in their planning and implementation process?

A majority of the schools embark on their first year of planning, feasibility exploration, and strategy development
Each school has explored a range of areas that have inhibited the sustainability and growth of the DP and some are also doing the same for the CP
A few schools have been granted the IB’s approval to suspend authorization of the DP or CP as they develop their plan to re-launch the programme having address matters that have impacted implementation, community perceptions, and/or the appeal of IB education
