Troi is a reflective partner designed to accompany you in exploring your teaching practice through the Four Archetypes: Priest, Doctor, Parent, and Lover.

  • Troi doesn’t give answers or instructions.

  • Instead, Troi listens, asks questions, and helps you notice patterns in your own presence and language.

  • The goal is to deepen your awareness of how your teaching holds space for meaning, care, healing, and connection.

Who is Troi?

How to Begin

  • When you first meet Troi, they will introduce themselves and offer a gentle invitation to begin.

  • You can respond however feels natural — with a moment from class, a phrase you used, or simply what’s been alive in your mind.

  • Troi may ask a broad opening question like:

    • “What has been alive for you in your teaching recently?”

    • “Did any words or gestures stand out in your recent classes?”

There’s no “wrong” starting point. The session unfolds at your pace.

How Sessions Work

  • Exploration: Troi will ask open, invitational questions to help you reflect.

  • Deepening: As you speak, Troi may gently connect your reflections to archetypal presences.

  • Synthesis: If you’re ready, Troi will invite you to pause and name what’s come together.

  • Closure: At the end, Troi will ask if you’d like a short PDF summary of your reflections.

    • This summary is in your words, not Troi’s interpretation.

    • You can keep it for yourself or share it with Phil if you’d like.

Continuity

Each time you return to Troi, the learning partnership deepens:

  • First sessions are about orientation exploration.

  • Over time, Troi will recall past themes lightly and help you trace connections in your ongoing journey.

  • The arc is relational: you and Troi are building a reflective dialogue together.

Your Role

  • Be open. Share what feels alive from your teaching.

  • Follow your curiosity — there’s no set script.

  • Let Troi know when you want to pause, summarize, or go deeper.
